Well, well, well. Went to Maynerds tonight after work to get some supplies. Got 750 feet of 12/2 wire. 750 feet of 14/3 and 500 feet of 12/3. Also picked up a four pack of can lights. Don't care one bit for them but with the skylight going in the kitchen I don't see any way around them. Also made sure I got the Maynerd freebies. Got my two gallons of windshield washing stuff. Unfortunately it is the crappy summer stuff that freezes at 32 degrees so I better have it used up by early fall. I think I have some winter stuff lurking somewhere in one of the many houses I've stored my personal belongings.
The plan has been for snort to start work tomorrow morning. We asked Farmer John (at the request of snort guy) to please mow and bale the fenced in area where the house is going to sit. He mowed on Monday and thought he'd bale on Wednesday. On my way home yesterday I drove past the land and noticed that the mowing had been done but not the baling. The grass (hay?) was still sitting there in wind rows. Then Farmer John called De later last night and let her know that he'd get the baling done Thursday. On the way home from Maynerds I swung past the land. Yes, the baling had been done but there has been another fine addition to the land. A snort and a pusher have shown up! Woohoo! Maybe this project will get under way afterall! I have pictures of the entrance to the land with the snort in the background that I hope to attach once I figure out how to resize the pictures to a monitor friendly format.
Well, well, well, I'll be saying goodnight to all and will report back with news as it happens.
Okay, got the wild hair to just put one picture out on the site. Sorry for the size for you dialup people but I just had to do it. If/when I figure out how to change the picture to web friendly size, I will. Tootaloo.
