Real Framing Has Begun!

Here is a picture of some real framing completed.

It rained yesterday and last night so it is quite muddy out there. Good thing Framers are used to working in crappy weather. These guys sure seem to be doing good work. Not that I'm a Master Carpenter, but it does look like good work.

Picked up more supplies for fencing. Hope to get that done this coming weekend. Just a rough estimate says we will be putting in about 80 rods of fence. The plan is to put five steel posts between wooden posts. Along with the five strands of 4-barb wire, this fence should last for many decades. Decades, what a wonderful word! It makes no sense to me that there are those out there that feel we should never use such a word. I think it fits very well in this context.
