Tarpaper work in progress

Here are a couple shots showing the tarpaper progress so far. Either not enough was ordered or LumberCompany didn't have enough for the whole job. I guess it doesn't much matter, there wasn't enough. Hopefully the rest of the tarpaper, the ice barrier, and shingles show up by Thursday. Rumor has it that Roofers will be back then.




Sribley and I went out to the house tonight after work and started going thru things and nailing on switch boxes in preparation of the wiring party that will happen this coming weekend. We got most of the switches figured out. Hopefully we'll remember what each one does come Saturday as we forgot to bring a magic marker along to designate the boxes.

I'm taking Thursday off work to attend an auction of farm machinery. I think it would be kind of neat to have a little tractor with a mower attachement so I can mow the approximate five acres of lawn in less time than it takes for the grass to regrow. Maybe I could find one with a mower and a scoop. Who knows, maybe I'll find the perfect tractor! Then again, maybe I'll just stand around taking in the ambiance.
