Day 10
Well, it is day ten. Last Friday Snort packed his bags and left the land. He got everything done that he can do. I saw the septic tank safely snuggled in its hole, the house hole is done and leveled off inside with about a foot of gravel.
The shape of the driveway is set with the rocks dug out of the hole. The final layer of gravel won't go on until everything is done, so says Snort.
It was beastly hot out this past weekend so I didn't do any outside work except mow the lawn. Instead of real work, I read the new book "Hairy Potter and the Half Bloody Prints" or something like that. I won't go into any details or my thoughts on the book as there are those who feel it has a somewhat controversial ending.
I hope to hear from Rob the Builder tomorrow to find out if Plunger is going to run pipe from the house to the septic before the foundation walls are put in.
