Day 12

Not much new to say today. Only worked a half a day so I could go to the brick store and pick out the brick that will go on the front of the house. Had a picture of a house in the neighborhood here that I liked and showed it to the salesman. He knew right away which brick it was so that has been settled. He also gave me a couple of addresses to drive past to see the bricks on a house. That helped a lot to verify that this was indeed the color of brick I want.


Here is a picture of the driveway and turn-around area from what will be the front lawn. Can't quite see where the Driveway meets the road, but it gives a good view of the drive.

Talked to Rob the Builder earlier and he says the concrete guys are backed up right now from all the rain we've been having. Now it looks as if early next week would be the soonest we could have basement walls poured. Hurry up and wait! That is my new motto. Well, it will never replace "chop chop, boy" but it is right up there now.......
