Fixtures and Bricks

The majority of the electrical fixtures have been installed. Most rooms have all of the outlets, switches, and lights. BrotherJoe came to work both Saturday and Sunday and did a lot of installing. AbbyVan put all of the outlets in her own room and did the outlets in the dining room also. What a good worker-monkey she is! I spent Saturday and Sunday morning cleaning up garbage on the building site while the ground was still frozen. What a bunch of pigs we have working for us.

The brickwork is done now. The only thing for them to do is to put the "rocks" on the chimney. For all I know that will get done today.



The flooring is progressing nicely. I think they will be done with all of the "wood" flooring today. The carpet won't go in until next Monday. Don't want the pigs slopping all over the carpet so it is good to wait. Rumor has it Plunger plans to show up on Friday to start installing everything he needs to do.

RobTheBuilder says that the gutters and downspouts are to show up sometime this week. I believe they are going to be seamless.
