Paint!
Wow, it has been over a week since I last posted. Time sure flies when having fun. Apparently it can fly when painting too!
Here is a shot of Sribley working away.

Did any of you notice the completly clean and dry roller cover?
Almost all of the painting got done this past weekend. What a fiasco that turned out to be. Apparently the textured primer was more texture than primer. That caused us to use way more paint than anticipated. We promptly ran out of paint on the first day. Sribley contacted the paint people and got oodles more paint on Saturday. Good thing she called the paint people as they were just leaving town to go to a wedding.
That still wasn't enough! We called the paint people again but they were still gone to the wedding so we had to wait until Monday morning to pick up more paint. Ended up getting ten gallons of primer to put where there was only the original "primer" so we could actually get some mileage out of the fancy paint. We got a lot more of the fancy paint and still didn't have enough. Sribley will be picking more paint up tomorrow so we can hopefully finish.
The painting crew consited of Sribley, BrotherJoe, SisterLinda, BrandyAndBarry, MamaLynette, and myself. Sribley is still in trouble for promising that I wouldn't have to paint at all yet I ended up painting. Oooh, is she in trouble.
BILMatt spent a couple days working away in the basement. He got the heatpump hooked up. Also got the septic pump/alarm wired too. Oh, and he got power/lights in the bomb shelter. He got to do all the good stuff while I labored at painting. Man, it sure would have been nice to be able to work with him instead of that icky painting. Have I ever mentioned that I do not like painting?
Today BrickLayerGuy showed up for a while and got another section of brick installed. Some more siding went up today also. The kitchen cabinets showed up one day last week and are in the garage. Rumor has it RobTheBuilder is taking his trailer to BigCity to get the flooring tomorrow.
It is looking like BricklayerGuy could finish tomorrow if he gets at it. Sribley signed off on him not having the brick up on the chimney, but rather putting stone up there. BrickLayerGuy thinks it will be easier to install and will look better. I suspect there is more of the easier than better looking but I'm content either way.
