John's Random Semi-Conscious Thoughts

Right now this will be a blog of the trials and tribulations of getting a house built. Also, there may be the occasional ramblings from the goings-on within my head.

Drywall Done, Heater heating!

The drywall goobers finished up late Saturday afternoon. They missed a couple spots that RobTheBuilder had to finish but it was no problem.

The furnace didn't show up as of Monday. Neither had the drywall cleanup crew. RobTheBuilder and BuilderTroy spent Monday working on the covered deck.

On Tuesday brought the cleanup crew, the heater, the mudders, AND THE WELL DIGGERS! Woohoo! Something is getting done!!!

WellDiggerGuy said that he had to go down 220 feet in order to get some water. I don't know how much further down they go after first finding water, but it is quite a bit further than they expected. I think they said NeighborKim only had to go 135 feet down to get water. Seems odd that we had to go deeper as NeighborKim is uphill from us. I'm sure the well digging will cost extra now.

Sribley has decided that she wants to do all the painting herself. Well, all but the priming. The primer paint will be sprayed on by the drywall finishing company and we'll do the painting when that is done which is expected to be end of day next Tuesday.
